Abstract
Our research is about: “the problematic of translating the cultural particularities of some excerpts from the novel of hadjer abd-samad "my beloved ISIS”.The research is turning around literary translation, since it aims a shedding the light on the different ambiguities encountered within the process of translating cultural particularities , which is one of the most and sensitive translations. First, we attempted to define the novel in question with its types, then we discussed its characteristics and elements, in addition to this, we explained and defined cultural particularities‘s kinds .
During our translation, we were focused on the interpretive theory, which is divided into three stages which are: the first is the stage of understanding; after that comes the linguistics alienation, and the stage of re-expression and formulation.
Finally, we translated some novel’s excerpts from Arabic to English, so we extracted some examples of cultural particularities and analysed then according to interpretative theory that is developed by DENICA SELESKOVITCH and MZRIANNE LEDERER
